Screen Printing Press Operator

DESCRIPTION:

• Manage workflow using the daily printing schedule.
• Operate a ROQ Auto Press.
• Set up jobs and ensure QC checks – registration, flash settings, squeegee speed, and pressure.
• Print with a variety of ink types, like discharge, acrylic, and plastisol.
• Use proper methods/techniques to operate and maintain automatic screen printing equipment.
• Verify size, color type of product, and ink color(s) from the order.
• Follow up regularly to confirm the quality of the product being printed.
• Maintain continuous inspection of job specifications and quality throughout the production run.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and safety of equipment.
• You are able to work effectively in an open warehouse.
• A clean, safe, and efficient workplace is important to you.
• You are organized and treat your equipment and tools with respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You are organized and treat your equipment and tools with respect.
• 3-5 years of experience required, manual press (6+ colors), experience with auto printing is a plus.
• Apparel production experience
• Experience with plastisol and waterbased inks
• Detail-oriented, able to catch and report mistakes
• Able to keep a clean and organize work area
• Mixing ink, folding shirts and other tasks as necessary
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Position is full time, guaranteed schedule,  40 hours/week.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM -5:30 PM + OT
